Bonded uses various benchmarking tools and intuitive graphic energy modeling to gauge you building's energy performance in comparison to similar code-compliant buildings. We'll outline the areas that need improvement and quantify the results. Bonded also works with asset managers, owners and building staff to develop a 'do-it-yourself' model for future use.

Energy Audits
Since 2011, private building owners must annually benchmark buildings over 50,000 square feet. Building owners must request information on commercial tenants' separately metered energy usage for the previous 12 months, and tenants are obligated to supply this information. Bonded Engineering partners with clients throughout this compliance process by benchmarking, preparing and supplying all the necessary research and documentation for reporting to the city.
Local Law 84 (LL84) Benchmarking
All buildings over 50,000 square feet must undergo an energy audit to identify energy saving opportunities. Retro-commissioning is the systematic tuning and adjustment of building equipment to increase performance based on the results of the energy audit.
